Benjamin Edols and Kathy Elliott
Biographical Information

Ben and Kathy have been making work collaboratively since 1992. Their work ranges from functional  bowls, vases, goblets and jugs  to unique vessels and sculptures which are represented in exhibitions internationally.    
They have recieved three Australia Council grants and in 1998 were awarded the Ranamok Glass Prize.
Ben and Kathy have taught workshops at Pilchuck Glass School, The Studio at the Corning Museum of Glass, Toyama Institute of Glass Art, Canberra School of Art and South Australia University among others. Ben has also given glassblowing workshops at Haystack School of Crafts and Ezra Glass School .
Their work is in the public collections of The Victoria and Albert Museum, Museum of Art and Design in New York, National Gallery of Australia, Toyama Art Museum and The Corning Museum of Glass among many others.
In  2013 Ben and Kathy were invited to be visiting artists at the Museum of Glass in Tacoma WA to coincide with the touring exhibition ‘Links: Australian Glass and the Pacific Northwest’. A major exhibition commissioned by the Museum of Glass in Tacoma and curated by Vicki Halper. Also in 2013 their work was included in the Museum of Art and Design exhibtion  ‘Playing with Fire : 50 years of Contemporary Glass’ in New York.
In 2016 their work was showcased in two separate survey shows: the first was  held at Toyama Glass Museum in Toyama ,Japan. The second was exhibited at Manly Art Gallery and Museum in Sydney.
